The Hearing Examiner decision to deny the zoning for warehouses @ Camby Village has been appealed.  The new hearing date is August 7.

On May 20, 2019, the Decatur Township Civic Council voted to OPPOSE 2019-ZON-036, a rezoning petition that would allow warehouses to be built on 121 acres along Kentucky Avenue at Camby Village Boulevard.  This parcel has an address of 8900 W. Mooresville Road, as it is one of the last undeveloped pieces of the old Trotter farm.

On June 13, 2019, the Hearing Examiner denied the rezoning.  That decision was appealed to the full Metropolitan Development Commission

What is being proposed by 2019-ZON-036

If passed, this rezoning would allow three logistics warehouses totaling about 1.75 million square feet, four retail outlots of about 2 acres each, and a 3 acre park -- all on 121 acres.

Below is the initial site plan submitted.  We will post the updated on as soon as we have an electronic copy.  They are quite similar.
